this ching ming festival fell on april 4th. my family went grave-sweeping the saturday before.

what a great day, cool weather and clear sky. the implementation of the policy of burning ancestral offering at central points could also given credit. all allow a sweeping view of not only the cemetery that history dated back to 1963 but everything from chai wan all the way down to the tallest building at far top left corner is around taikoo place; the waterway starts from the bottom right hand side is lei yue mun channel. on the kowloon side there is yau tong and then kowloon bay. don’t we love the rolling hills fringing kowloon the peninsula. back on the hong kong side, the high point is siu ma shan.
