i always feel thankful to tourists taking photographs of our bamboo-scaffolding workers. they are amazed by the workers’ skill, boldness and agility; because they are giving the appreciation the workers and this particular skill long- and well-deserved.
this art and craft is only thriving in hong kong, not even in guangdong or china, i believe, and the most amazing part is that training and inheritance is still ongoing. how many traditional practices you can find in hong kong surviving young and well?
