2015.8.1 | 尖沙咀海旁 tsim sha tsuiharbourfront
i am a frequent visitor of this museum, even though the art atmosphere and horizon of the city is thin (vs the booming art market), because i believe in exposure and infusion; and the cruel fact is that apart from few high-profile exhibitions, the venue in most of the time is quiet and empty, it was really nice to visit.
the museum started closing today for revamp that will last for three years. guess not many hongkongers care about that, but i do feel a bit of loss. the good thing is that when it opens again, first thing, it will lose the public toilet appearance and hopefully art policy and the museum policy will also improve at that point. so, let’s say goodbye to this failing the great harbourfront location-building for now.
