2013.8.2 | sheung wan tram terminal 上環電車總站
the characteristic of the sheung wan tram terminal is the parallel islands and railway tracks. (happy valley terminal has similar setting.) but love the drama this terminal offers. trams on the two routes make a turn together. after passing the red-brick western market on the left, they go separate ways – east and west. i love sitting at the very end of the tram on the upper deck and bid goodbye to the tram heading the opposite direction.
love every bit of our tram. cheap and environmental, the open windows, the ding ding, and the lines it draw on our ground and in the air.
the rainwater these days well on the track, is hiding the lines on the ground but reflecting the tram power lines originally in the air. the atmosphere may be grey and gloomy because of the weather, but this is a cityscape i enjoy a lot.
