雖然對腳力有少許挑戰,但很愛從中環皇后大道一直向上走。

走過不少平坦的外國街道,特別珍惜香港島的多山地貌。斜路之上,建有人家商店,加上車水馬龍,風光充滿層次質感。

it takes some effort to visit them, but i frequent a number of old streets climbing up from queen’s road to the mid levels. the steepness gives character and the history, the community, the buildings of people’s home and livelihood inject depth and texture to the scenery.

這是其中一條由中環攀貫半山堅道的老街 – 鴨巴甸街。老細葉榕守在街頭,行人由下而上,受惠樹蔭。樹前還有綠色鐵皮排檔。標誌(致)的半山風光。

this is aberdeen street. an old chinese banyan stations at the top of it, providing shade and blowing life and rhythm to the area. an old green tin stall adds a breath of nostalgic to the street corner.
